Corporate structure

IAJ is run on a daily basis by an operations manager who has oversight of three departments

covering paper, cattle and chemicals. Logistics reports directly to the managing director. There

is also a corporate department that runs finance, HR and manages the office. The managers

are a mix of Australian, Indonesian and Chinese backgrounds and their management style

tends to follow their cultural backgrounds. At times there can be friction between them but

generally they get on. There is a reluctance though to share information, particularly if they

feel their positions are under threat.

IAJ 's corporate structure is outline in the following diagram.
