McNulty, Lucy. “EU Finance Deal May Follow US Model in Blow to Brexit Optimists.” Private Equity News, Private Equity News, 26 Feb. 2021, www.penews.com/articles/eu-finance-deal-may-follow-us-model-in-blow-to-brexit-optimists-20210226.

One of the most spoken topics of the European Union is Brexit. Until these days, the nations are still discussing possible agreements and unresolved issues. The author Lucy McNulty explains how the European Union is dealing with the post-Brexit situation. She added that the organization agreed to share some information with the UK for possible future interactions; nevertheless, Lucy indicated a comment made by some British politician that said that despite the agreement, the countries were not tied to anything and nobody. All the situation is a little confusing since now the US is also involved. With that in mind, the author made a great job of explaining what is happening with that situation.

The website uploaded an article that the EU is trying to implement new strategies for adapting to climate change. It indicates that the organization is doing everything it can not only for the European country but also internationally. It explains his ideas of how to try to improve climate change, even so, going through world problems as big as the economies of the countries and the worrisome Covid-19t disease. Wires, News. “EU Leaders Vow to Speed up Vaccine Production at Covid-19 Summit.” France 24, France 24, 25 Feb. 2021, www.france24.com/en/europe/20210225-covid-19-eu-summit-to-debate-slow-vaccine-rollout-travel-certificates.

Due to the current world situation, complicated decisions are a big part of the EU’s problems. It is going through a complicated decision process, such as how is the best way to get vaccinated against covid-19 and new alternatives to fight against the virus. Given that, News Wires is informing us of a videoconference meeting of the EU heads and some of its possible decisions for fighting against the covid 19. The concerns are real. The virus is not dying yet; for that reason, the EU is looking for ways of accelerating the vaccination process. The website presented that the EU wants to remain with substantial restrictions because of the high number of coronavirus cases and deaths. Nevertheless, on the videoconference, many arguments argued that the acceleration of its process might not be safe and probably impossible to carry out. Throughout the whole news, the participants’ comments are cited along with the video of the event. This website provided an excellent and clear summary of the discussion made on that video, adding some clarifying comments for giving the reader a betters understanding of the conclusion.
