Abhik Gupta is a very bright student in my Fundamentals of Financial Management class currently at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, University of Delhi. He places high importance on classwork and is always very sincere with his assignments and projects in college. He has a sharp mind and is a good analytical thinker. He has strong concepts in Finance and Mathematics. I have never found him missing classes without a proper reason, nor does he try to cut corners in his assignments. His work is always well illustrated and very neat. This helps him score well in his university examinations and always get good grades in all his examinations.

Abhik keeps himself well read about the various finance and business related news, both in India and internationally. His views about financial asset classes and business finance are always very clear and insightful. His project report on “Investments in Startups” was awarded the best academic report this year at our college.

He bagged a very prestigious internship with the Jacksons Developers Pvt Ltd, a large corporate group in India where he worked in with the Management team. This internship has taught him several complexities that exist in the Indian business environment. I am glad that he was able to apply what we have taught him at college at a company of the scale of Jackson Developers. He has also interned with Aadi International Export House, another large business organization where he assisted the head sales director to build presentations for clients.

Apart from academic excellence and business related internships, Abhik also contributes his time towards volunteer work to help the needy and destitute. He has been volunteering with the Rotary Club for three years. He is also a noteworthy debater for our college and has represented our college at several university level debates.

Abhik has great potential to make a very good career in the field of business management. I thus strongly support his candidature at a good international university where he can gain advanced skills in the field. I feel that his potential will be best polished at an international university where he can be exposed to new ideas in international management. This will help him to emerge as an even more capable businessman in the years to come. I wish him all the best with his future studies and career thereafter.
