In this Assignment, you will evaluate Martha Stewart’s case of insider trading and determine if ethics is an influential factor. You will evaluate both sides and give your opinion on whether or not the code of ethics was followed; and your opinion on her conviction and jail sentence.

Martha Stewart and her Investment Counselor were indicted, convicted, and served jail time for insider trading.

Go on the Internet and find a scholarly resource about Martha’s case. Study the case and answer the following

questions in an analytical essay.

● Do you think Martha Stewart and her Investment Counselor acted ethically ?

● Do you agree with the conviction? Explain why or why not.

● Were the codes of ethics followed?
