Assignment #3 Global Leader Plan

FOR ASSIGNMENT 3-WEEK 7 – Your Global Leader Plan must be 5 pages long, not counting the title and reference pages. It must include a minimum of 3 scholarly references and other resources you may find useful to document your comments and discussion. Paper must adhere to APA guidelines.

Consider that you have been assigned to lead an organization related to your own professional field “Retail Store Manager” at the global level. As the future leader, develop your Personal Leadership Plan. Your plan must reflect best practices following Global Leadership Competencies. Take into consideration the skills, knowledge and cultural competencies that you would need.

Be sure to include the following in your plan:

1. Introduction: Describe the need and role for global leaders. Include recommendations derived from the literature on becoming a global leader

2. Vision and expectations as a leader of the organization that you will be leading.

3. Objectives as a leader: identify two-three objectives you would have as a leader. Include knowledge areas to improve or enhance to become an effective global leader. Align them with global leadership competencies as discussed in class.

4. Resources for professional development: Based on the areas that you identify as in need of improvement, include a list of those you would use to build knowledge to become an effective leader.
