Topic Selection

· State the topic chosen from the list or topic approved by instructor

The topic I selected is cancel student-loan indebtedness. This is a topic that can be even more challenging when you are part of it. My husband and I were college students at the same time for some period of time and manage to finish school without debt with the help of our parents and part-time jobs. But now that we have our own little family, and I decided to go back for Nursing school we are not sure how we will manage to pay for school if it was not for student-loans.

· State the specific issue you will explore

Should the United States pass a bill to cancel student-loan indebtedness?

· For the stated issue, state three (3) aspects of the issue that you think you will likely develop in your paper. Briefly state why you have chosen each aspect.

1. Student loans paid in full. What action/s would the United States take to reimburse all those students who paid their student loans before the bill?

· I like this aspect to support my essay because there is a lot of people who have paid their student loans in full with hard work so it would be fair for them to receive some kind of reimbursements or credits.

2. Money. Where would the money to pay for the student loans come from?

· I selected this aspect because money is always a thing. In order to pay for all the debt, money have to come out from somewhere.

3. Enrollment rate. Would people start to enroll in course thinking this could happen again?

· I chose this aspect because thinking that a bill like this one might be passed again in the future, people may start enrolling in courses just for fun without even having a plan on mind.
