I personal think that Artificial Intelligence will be a great asset to cybersecurity in terms of detecting and contain a data breach at its initial stage before it spreads out and affect an entire network (Dewan, 2017). The government and the private sectors can utilize this great tool (AI) to their advantage if they co-ordinate and work together. Affected organizations can share information about the nature of data breach to other organization so that they can develop algorithms to detect and stop the same malware from infiltrating their organization. Unfortunately, private companies and government cannot share information with each other because of privacy laws.

The disadvantage of using Artificial Intelligence in cybersecurity is that it can be used against your organization if it is wrong hands. Then you to do not know which angle they are going to attack you from.
