A central part of the Global Economics course is the team project on a chosen country or on a chosen block (Asia, The Americas, Europe etc.). The aim of the country projects is for students to apply the concepts and frameworks presented in the course to a particular case, which can generate collective knowledge to the breadth of the topics that can be researched throughout the course.

Each team will select a country, and one cluster within that country, for in-depth analysis. Approval from the professor on the chosen cluster needs to be collected, prior to the finalization of the project. Not one same topic can be chosen within the cohort, thus each project will need to be unique in its typology. “A first come, first served” basis will be applied in case of same project proposals.

The group project will also get evaluated according to the following 5 standards:
