Multicultural competence is very much essential for people at the management level. In a workplace people from different cultural background will come together to work, so in order to maintain peace and harmony within the office environment, people at the management level should be culturally competent. They should treat all the cultural people equally without any differences, only then the work process will go on smooth, and the organization would be able to reach their goal. Multicultural leadership is important because of the need to keep competitive advantage (“Why Is Multicultural Leadership Important?”, 2016). So, it is essential for the management department people to acquire the skill of multicultural competency.
Since, many more organizations are becoming multinational, transnational so the ability to adapt to seamlessly cross borders and embrace varying leadership styles is paramount today (“Why Is Multicultural Leadership Important?”, 2016).
To support the position, I would like to discuss about the multi-cultural competency in Apple company. “Based on the organizational culture, this business condition facilitates the fulfillment of Apple Inc.’s corporate mission and vision statements. Through the leadership of Steve Jobs and, now, through the leadership of Tim Cook, the company continues to enhance its cultural characteristics to maximize human resource support for business relevance in various markets around the world. Apple shapes its corporate culture and uses it as a tool for strategic management and success.” (Pauline Meyer, para. 1, 2019)
#Multi-culturalCompetentInNokiaIndia: Nokia's acquisition activity was stepped up in 2006 with the purchase of companies such as Loudeye, Intellisync, and Gate5, which allows them to enhance their products with business, music, and navigation services. These changes have led to an increase within the Nokia community, which now consists of just over 68,000 employees, representing more than 120 nationalities. This growing multicultural workforce further highlights their diversity and inclusion efforts (Pauline Meyer, para. 5, 2019). Since, Nokia is a successful company in India with all the cultural diversities, we could understand their multicultural management skill.

Multicultural leadership skills are becoming more vital for leaders and managers as technology shrinks the globe and allows us to interact and work beyond political borders. As the workforce becomes increasingly diverse, managers will need to acquire new skills to deal with the challenges of multiculturalism and workplace relationships.
Multicultural competence refers to a collection of skills and talents necessary for success in today's diverse society. A company's proficiency in a foreign language is often gained via practice than through advanced preparation. Managers need to be able to deal with individuals from various backgrounds. They need strong leadership from those who know what they are talking about (Hladik, 2016).
A leader with a wide range of skills may successfully influence people by listening and fostering open communication via inquiry, dialogue, and knowledge exchange. Their ability to promote their ideas and work out mutually beneficial solutions is a consequence of their success. Respect for other people's perspectives and ideas is as important as demonstrating gratitude for their team members' achievements while leading multicultural teams. It is simpler to maintain a healthy working relationship when disagreements are settled constructively.
With this ability, leaders worldwide must be able to draw in, recruit, and cultivate diverse teams. Managers who want to improve their multicultural leadership skills might benefit from a more varied staff by seeing beyond the cultural differences. In the future, it is projected that the capacity to work with and manage people from a variety of cultures will be more vital. Their company's long-term success depends on their ability to lead successfully across cultures (Pyle, 2020).
Global Location for Nokia Corporation Outside of North America
Singapore, which is in Southeast Asia
Nokia Global Capture Singapore
Regarding being in Asia, I picked Singapore as another global site for Nokia because Asia is another place in the globe where Nokia has the chance to become more diversified and develop its multicultural expertise. In Singapore, diversity is celebrated as a positive aspect of the country's identity.
This year's World Bank Ease of Doing Business survey continuously rates Singapore as the easiest place to start a new company. As the World Economic Forum's Global Competitiveness Report 2015-2016 acknowledged. According to experts, Singapore tops the list in Asia in terms of IP protection, infrastructure, and incentives. A cosmopolitan melting pot of cultures, Singapore's work culture combines Asian and Western influences, giving it a unique combination of the two.
Nokia is a multiculturally capable brand and business, as shown by the hashtag #NokiaGlobalCaptureSingapore. In Singapore, such capacity is shown and honed to its fullest extent. More than 7,000 worldwide firms call Singapore their home, making it a truly global city. As a city-state, Singapore thrives because of its variety, which helps it become a major participant in the global economy and opportunities stage. Unwritten cultural norms and regulations govern how Singaporeans behave in any setting when certain cultural themes are invoked (Siegmund AV, 2015).

Orientation adopted by virtuous leader long term or short term
The virtuous leader might adopt a long-term orientation as adopting the long-term orientation is going to indicate the leader’s ability to be adaptable to situations. The virtuous leader requires to have the ability to think about the organization’s future. By setting up various goals for the organization the virtuous leader is going to help the company in moving toward achieving the future goals and requirements. In the case of long-term orientation adopted by the virtuous leader, all the decisions are taken and their result would be for the future period. The virtuous leader is going to adopt either the short-term orientation if he likes to concentrate only on the past and present but a virtuous leader is going to bring greatness to others as well (DeBode et al., 2020).
Example of a virtuous organization using long-term or short-term orientation:
PepsiCo Inc had concentrated on long-term orientation as the PepsiCo company produces carbonated drinks it is facing a lot of criticism due to the unhealthy drink and it creating the water pollution in many of its manufacturing units. It cannot just concentrate on the present and past but it requires concentrating on the future which is identifying the health and wellness and following the long-term orientation strategy and innovation under the leadership of Indra Nooyi who was the CEO before. PepsiCo has mainly aimed at producing healthy products and PepsiCo’s research and development unit has also been developed keeping in mind the future goals and objectives that need to be achieved by the company by 2025 (Gallego-Álvarez & Pucheta-Martínez, 2021).
Bible verse supporting Virtuous leader and organization:
Bible verse supporting virtuous leadership and also the organization is it says to obey the leader and tells people to submit to them as they keep watch on the soul of the people it says people to obey leaders with happiness and joy and not sadness as it is unprofitable. It also tells the organization that all things must be done correctly and in order. Bible promotes the leaders and also the organizations to be very virtuous and says that organizations should not concentrate only on their profit but also try for providing service to others the leaders as well should do the work because they like to do it and not because they have to the work (Moner & Tomaro, 2018).

Truth is the short-term focus, whereas Virtue is the long-term orientation. Leaders who long-term value success are more inclined to embrace a long-term perspective because of the benefits it offers. The qualities of patience and prudence, in particular, are emphasized in long-term orientation. To be long-term oriented, one must have a long-term outlook, have a strong faith in the future, respect future values, and be a part of a community with a strong sense of patience and thrift in anticipation of greater prosperity in the future. Short-term cycles are the basis for all long-term trends (MindTools, 2020).
These small cycles and constant progress may help us better comprehend long-term cycles. Understanding that the real long-term is not only about the hour and minute hands on your watch ticking repeatedly is critical to your success. To be so pessimistic about the long term means nothing.
b.
Amazon is an excellent example of a company with a long-term focus. Online auctions are available to clients across the globe. It has unique web pages for each country and a variety of features. Amazon is also being a competitor for Walmart and Target with contactless grocery stores which is all automated and have already begun in some cities. Amazon is very futuristic with the projects that bring the customer close to them and has been a competitor in all the industries like the streaming services, music, book and etc.
c.
Keep an eye on God's flock you've been entrusted with, not because you feel obligated to, but because you want to, as God wants you to; do not seek selfish gain but are ready to serve; do not treat people given to you with contempt, but instead set a good example. You'll be crowned with an imperishable crown when the Chief Shepherd comes (Bibleref, 2022).
