6751 Week 4 Discussion

In their chapter on student success pathways, Kuh et al. (2010) talk about how DEEP institutions “communicate preferred ways of doing things and bond students to one another and the institution.”

For this week’s Discussion, select three of the DEEP institutions, visit their campus websites, and select a transition program (i.e. new student orientation, transfer student orientation, freshman year experience, etc.) to analyze how information and “preferred ways of doing things” are communicated to students at the institution.
