Data is the details of the user that is stored in the database of the system for the further use of the user. The data of the user should be protected by the company with high security and if the data is leaked from the database, then there will be a severe complication for the users, the company should take care to prevent the leakage of the data from the database. Companies can follow many methods to keep their data safe, the company should keep backups ready. The security policy of the company will be directly related to the backups of the database (Liu et al., 2021). The data system backups are to be included in the disaster recovery and incident response plans of the company. In such a way the database of the company will not be compromised during the time of the attack.

If the database is not stored properly, then the data can have a breach during the malware outbreak, hurricane, or any other calamities and employee break-in which can compromise the data present in the database. The backup data should be stored in the software and access to the software should be given to the people who are trusted for the company (Borghi & Van Gulick, 2021). The original software of the company should be secured for the prevention of any cyber-attacks. Generally, it is advised to store the backups of the data in another place or building so if there is any chance of attack then the backup software will be protected from any other external attacks as the data will be protected.
