After reading Chapter 13 in your textbook, discuss the use of metrics in project management

using the guiding questions provided. Use your own experience in project management and/or

your own research to provide examples that clearly support your points.

How does your team use project metrics?

How are these reported?

What action steps are taken once this data is analyzed?

What part do you play in taking corrective action?

(Note: If you do not have personal experience to draw upon, research a typical project and

answer the questions as if you were part of the project team.)

In response to peers, note the differences and the similarities in the ways metrics are used

among the various project examples provided. Respond to peers who have a different approach

or experience from your own and discuss how you might adopt your peer's approach for your
