It is important to have at least a summary of who, where, when, why addressed somewhere in your paper to adequately address the rubric grading criteria requirements. I recommend that you have introduction and conclusion paragraphs as well as a purposed statement for this paper.

You have a very general paper. It is not clear about what your project is ?

Action plan

An action plan is a chronological order that will be used to implement a project. It also provides the project's measures and financing and guides stakeholders involved on the route the program will follow. The action plan will be divided into four sections; the design, set up, implementation, and winding up (European Commision, 2015). The design phase will handle the ex-ante evaluation and selection of implementing tenets of the SWOT analysis, which must culminate with the firm's eternal and internal environment. In the second step, the setup will include the erection of proper governance and management structures, including a reporting and accounting system. The next step will be the implementation, whereby the involved parties are informed of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Further, funds and other resources will be disbursed at this point, and resources that will not have been reused will be recycled. The last stage is winding up, which is the repayment of resources used, and closure of factors identified in the SWOT analysis. A SWOT analysis is preferred for the organization because it allows for an in-depth analysis of how internal and external factors affect the company's functioning. Each step of the action plan is essential because it defines the selection of the SWOT analysis variables and the arrangement of the implementation. The investment strategy chosen for the implementation plan will determine the relationship with both internal and external stakeholders. Another importance of a sound action plan is that it speeds up the implementation process, which prevents delays in the fulfillment of opportunities identified in the SWOT analysis.

Resources and competencies

The resources and competencies used in the implementation of SWOT analysis will be accrued from an internal and external analysis of the organization. According to Mirkovic (2019), a scan of both the internal and external environments provides a holistic picture of its ecology. It allows for the formation of a strategy that allows the organization to succeed. The resources will be both financial and human, while the competencies will be the competitive advantage the company has, and opportunities present. The company's initial strategy was to become a top competitor for the company, but that was changed because it does not adequately examine the internal and external environment, which means that the strategy is not feasible. Hence, financial resources will enable the company to identify competitors, which will allow for proper identification of opportunities and threats. Financial resources also fund the implementation process by providing tools and paying the team in charge of the process. Human resources are essential in the implementation because employees are the company's face and determine how well an implementation process will be carried out. Therefore, human resources are essential in the implementation of the strategic plan. The competitive advantage is a competency because it will determine the company's direction to maintain its competitive edge. When compared against the competition in the market, the competitive advantage is an essential strategy in the formation of a SWOT analysis, and eventually, a long term strategic plan. Opportunities present for the company are another competency because they determine the direction of the SWOT analysis and the long-term strategic plan.

Action plan alignment

The alignment of how the action plan aligns with its strategic initiatives allows for the achievement of goals set. Alignment must occur to prevent the risk of execution failure. In the project, the alignment will ensure a link between the high-level strategic goals, and the programs that support the goals set (Howarth, 2020). A strategic plan that lacks proper alignment is at risk of wasting time and resources and risk the success of primary projects that support an organization's goals and objectives. The organization's strategic initiative is to do an in-depth analysis of the external and internal environment, via SWOT analysis, to ensure the company stays afloat and acquires a competitive edge. The action plan has four facets- the design, setup, implementation, and closure. The action plan aligns with strategic goals through vertical planning. During the planning process, there is a representation of various horizontal activities, which is excellent, because it provides the stakeholders involved a better view of all tenets involved. However, a vertical view presents a more straightforward presentation, enabling the people involved to identify any missing initiatives that can lead to failure of the project (Howarth, 2020). Therefore, the first step, which is the design, handles the assessment and selection of parties involved in the implementation process. The next step is the setup, which handles the formulation of a good team that will lead the implementation process. The team will conduct the SWOT analysis and integrate it into the company's strategic goal. The preceding step is implementation, where the factors identified in the SWOT are connected to the company's goals and objectives after that everything is wound up, which means that payments are made, and the SWOT analysis process is closed.

It is real important that you review the rubric for this assignment because it has much more detail on the expectations and grading criteria that was used in evaluating your paper. It is also a good idea to look over the rubric before you submit the assignment. Perhaps more outside sources could have given you more information to get top scores on all aspects of the assignment. Please read through the rubric about the grading and expectations for this assignment as well as the study aide for this assignment.
