Assume you are explaining the cases to an intelligent but uniformed person about workplace law (AKA the Reasonable Person). In a few clear concise and well-written paragraphs (no more than 2 pages), explain the basic issues of each case and then compare and contrast the differences in approach and outcomes between these cases. Each deals with how violence in the workplace may or may not lead to justifiable summary dismissal. How does the Common Law approach this issue compared to how it may be dealt with under the Occupational Health and Safety Act?
