5-DAY
GET ORGANIZED Divide materials to study, such as textbook chapters and lecture notes, into equal parts. Divide them so that you have one less part than you do days (e.g. 4 parts for a 5 day plan). List each part and label it: Part A, Part B, Part C, Part D...
SELECT PREPARATION & REVIEW STRATEGIES For each part, select 2-3 appropriate preparation and review strategies. Refer to list below for suggestions. Make sure the strategy keeps you active and makes you thinkl, not just copy.
KEY PRINCIPLES TO REMEMBER • Break material into small, manageable parts • Plan to prepare and review all material, even if you think you
know it • Plan a cushion day between the last day of your study plan
and exam day to prepare for unexpected events. • Test your knowledge on the last day of your study plan to
focus on information you haven’t fully learned yet • Commit at least 2 hours a day to study for the exam. Break
up the time if you can’t focus for 2 hours straight.
