Assignments must be prepared electronically, using a word processor and whatever equation editor comes with your word processing software. However, if your word processor is not compatible with your mentor's word processor, you will need to save your document as a rich-text file (.rtf) before submitting it. Check with your mentor first to determine file compatibility. (Important: Use the equation editor to insert equations into your word-processed document, not to create the document itself.)

When preparing your answers, please identify each exercise clearly by textbook section and exercise number. To receive full credit for your answers, you must show all work and include complete solutions.

A Note about Graphing

Throughout this course, you will be required to create graphs. You have several options for graphing:

· Use the  Excel Graphing Template  or the  Google Sheets Graphing Template  to graph basic functions. You will upload these graphs along with your other assignments. Please note that you will not be able to use these templates for every graph.

· For more complex graphing, print out this  Graph Paper , draw your graph, and upload it along with your other assignments by taking a picture, scanning, or recording a short video of your graph(s) using Kaltura.

· For polar graphs, print out one of these templates:  Polar Graph Paper 1 Polar Graph Paper 2 . Then, draw your graph and upload it along with your other assignments by taking a picture, scanning, or recording a short video of your graph(s) using Kaltura.
