Part I: Pearson product-moment correlations

I performed the correlation between supervisor and coworkers. The formula used on the excel file was “=PEARSON(C2:C51,E2:E51)” and the value of Pearson product-moment correlations between supervisor and coworkers was found to be 0.51377574. The value of Pearson product-moment correlation should be between -1 and 1 where 0 signifies no correlation, 1 represents perfect linear correlation and negative 1 represents perfect negative correlation (Wilcox, 2017). The correlation between supervisor and coworkers is thus moderate positive correlation. A second correlation was performed between supervisor as the independent variable and happiness and the dependent variable. The formula used on the excel file was “=PEARSON(C2:C51,F2:F51)” and the value of Pearson product-moment correlations between supervisor and happiness was found to be 0.611237. Thus, there exists a moderately strong positive correlation between supervisor and happiness
