The selected criminological theory conflict theory that the dominant group can use states the mechanism and the law of its enforcement in the society to help in minimizing the threats to their interest posed by the individual whom they consider as being a threat to the society, such as the minority group like African American.

Various factors contribute to police brutality in America, such as the lack of effective training on how to deal with certain issues that contributes to the police officer to use of excess forces while addressing such case example while arresting an individual. There are many cases of lack of accountability and prosecution where police have been accused of different offices; however, they are not processed or punished (Richardson et al., 2019). Therefore, making policies to get away with criminal activity such as murder.

Police brutality plays a vital role in engendering the lack of public trust and confidence in the law enforcement department. Police brutality also contributes to the police work is more challenging. For example, the public cannot work with the police by reporting crime cases or helping the police get important information during the investigation (Richardson et al., 2019). How does police brutality impact criminal justice. Therefore, making it hard to arrest and prosecute criminals in the community.

How the issues of police brutality impact the general public.
Police brutality in America is considered a "public health" concern since it affects the health and well-being of the population. When people experience police brutality, they are ill and experience physical and mental stress (Alang et al., 2020). Police brutality contributes to people experiencing mental stress and also physical injuries. Police brutality sometimes contributes to the death of suspects. An example is that of George Floyd.

The key stakeholder in the issues is the police officer, community group, non-governmental organization, government officials, and survivor of police brutality. The key group that is considered to be mainly affected by police brutality is the minority group, such as the African Americans. However, the whole stakeholder can play a vital role in influencing the change needed to address the crime if they all unite and make an effective contribution.

Describe strategies that are currently employed to address the issue
Criminal justice has played an important role in advocating for the necessary social work camp that are found in different communities, especially in low-income communities in the United States and those close to the borders. To help address the issues of police brutality. Effective training of police officers in regard to having the necessary skill to deal with different issues that may arise while they are executing their role (Nowacki & Willits, 2018). The use of body cam has played a vital role in recording evidence that can be used in the prosecution and accountability of police officers.

Body cam has been considered to provide relevant evidence during the accountability and prosecution of officers that have been involved in cases of police brutality. Effective training has also played a vital role in providing police officers with enough knowledge needed while conducting their duty without violating the right of people (Nowacki & Willits, 2018) .

How does your previous assessment impact the specific branches of the criminal justice system?
The assessment of police brutality has contributed to the reduction of racial disparity in the criminal justice system. Many cases of police brutality have been linked to racial disparity among minority groups such as African Americans. Since cases of racial discrimination are taken seriously, such as the example of George Floyd, all the law officers involved in the case were prosecuted within a short time. It has also contributed to police accountability since reported cases are investigated and the law, and if they are found guilty of police brutality, the individual involved are prosecuted.
