Records Administrator and Information Management Analyst 40 hours per week

  • Serves as the Records/Systems Administrator for Head Quarters Department of the Army. Manages and provides training to agency employees on the capability of the automated records management system also known as the Army Records Information Management Systems (ARIMS).

  • Provided management, technical guidance, and training to 1,000+ personnel spread across 11 regional offices and headquarters office in Washington DC. Developed, coordinated, and provided approval of all records management functions. Interprets federal records management guidelines

  • Applied specialized knowledge of records management program disciplines and identified procedures and methodologies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency in life cycle management of the organization's records and documentation such as creations, retention, maintenance, processing, use, access, release, safeguarding, declassification, and final disposition using Title 36, code of Federal Regulations (CFR), subchapter B, part 1220, Title 44 U.S. Code: Federal Records Act (FRA), the E-Government (E-Gov) Act, and the Electronic Records Management Initiative (ERMI)

  • Oversaw the offsite storage of records for three offices within agency. Coordinated with Federal Records Center and Iron Mountain to ensure records were picked up, stored, and disposed in a timely fashion.

  • Conducted assessments for five offices within agency on records management program. Identified 100 problem areas, created solutions and tracked progress of project completion

  • Coordinated records schedule through agency Archivist, Records Officer, and National Archives and Records Administration for approval and implementation

  • Served as focal point for agency records liaison and new employee orientation training. Trained 50 Records Liaisons on proper records management techniques and trained 200 new agency employees on agency records management basic program and responsibilities

  • Completed 81 certified document requests for private sector and federal agency employees. Ensured two day turn-around time and 100% on time rating for all requests.

  • Collaborated with agency leadership for capstone project implementation by December 2016. Identified positions that require permanent storage through Capstone initiative.

Training Manager 40 hours per week

  • Conducted research and analysis for the implementation of new training applications by creating timelines, creating and identifying training strategies.

  • Proctored examinations for users to complete certification. Identified and develop training materials, develop objectives and tests, conduct pilot testing on small groups prior to deploying any new application for use.

  • Assisted with creating project schedules and test reporting, completes monthly activity reports to forward to Program Managers at corporate office.

  • Conducted Web demonstrations to user abroad/remote locations by means of virtual training.   • Critical member of Change Management Team contracted by the United States Surgeon General. Led a three person team to implement new training software at first of 73 Air Force locations.

  • Aided the site in preparation for a major inspection, reviewed training records and manning/ position rosters to ensure all personnel were loaded properly against each manning position.

  • Coordinated with 20+ section supervisors to approve required training that would be provided. Provided extensive operational /activity reports to Program Managers to establish data base.

    • Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) (Washington, Dc) 2005 - 2006

Training Registrar 40 hours per week

  • Singularly responsible for scheduling 800+ Parole Officers for training. Published a training catalog semiannually listing all courses provided by the agency.

  • Published training announcements to fill vacant training seats to other agencies in the DC Metro area--coordinated with agencies to procure classes not provided by parent agency. Reviewed and corrected travel notifications (800+) in four months.

  • Filed all requests for classes, all approved classes. Provided administrative assistance, to include back-up time keeper and leave monitor.

  • Served as Records Management officer, maintaining all records for all personnel. Responsible for Records Management, Mail Management, Electronic Forms Management, Publications Management, Privacy Act, and Correspondence Control for CSOSA.

  • Coordinated with information management specialist to ensure the record management and publication programs are involved in technological advancement of automation, information processing, and storage to assign records management responsibilities and functions of the record life cycle, including forms analysis and design, reports, and directives management, filling and retrieval systems.

  • Developed training manuals and courses using Instructional Systems Design methodologies within the field of telecommunications, including wired and wireless systems.  Managed, coordinated, scheduled and presented course offerings in support of customer requirements.
