4.3Assignment-WorldviewSelfAssessmentReport.docx

Getting Started

Over the past couple of weeks, you have explored the concept of worldview. You’ve completed a chart that identifies how various worldviews answer Sire’s seven “big” questions. Now, it’s time for you to assess your own worldview!

IWU Professor Emeritus Vern Ludden (2018) created a validated worldview survey that consists of 35 questions. Once you have responded to them, the instrument includes a section where you will tabulate your score. For this assignment, you will write a one- to two-page reflection paper that reports on the results of your assessment, including the extent to which you do or don’t agree with the results. Your reflection paper also should discuss why you think you scored as you did. Explain inconsistencies between your results and your assumptions about what you believed your worldview to be, if any. You do not need to include or submit your actual self-assessment instrument as part of your reflection paper assignment.
