4.2 Discussion.Organizational Learning and Diversity

Getting Started

Aspects of cultureThis week’s discussion centers around organizational learning and diversity. As you head into this week’s discussion, think back to content from previous courses. In LDR 365 – Foundations of Organizational Behavior, you studied culture from Schein’s point of view (i.e., artifacts, values and beliefs, and underlying assumptions). In other courses, you may have covered ideas such as mental models, systems thinking, and double-looped learning. Each of these concepts is vital to organizational learning.

To prepare for this week's discussion, access the tabs below for reading and video resources.

As you consider these different organizational learning concepts, think about how they might relate to issues of diversity, culture, and multicultural environments.
