The “The Gods Must be Crazy” is a movie I had to watch back in college before becoming a nurse and is the first thing that came into mind in responding to this discussion.

Jamie Uys directs the African based comedy, where the movie happens to focus more on tribal individuals who are based on the remote desert of Africa. The movie follows Xi as the main character of the movie whose tribe does not know the outside world (Kalahari Desert). Andrew Steyn also is known as Marius Weyers happens to be analyzing manure samples in an effort for the exposition of his Ph.D. Kate Thompson plays the role of Sandra Prinsloo who happens to be a recently employed village teacher. The sociological perspective entails vital technological progress costs, therefore, modernism (Tomaselli,2013).

During their daily activities, something strange happened to drop from the sky. The sight of the foreign object was quite mesmerizing, the water like object yet harder than the usual wood and bone they were used to was quite a wonder. His main concern was the reason behind the gods sending the strange object to his tribal land. The tribe, in general, was quite fond of the new object as they had never seen such a strange thing, at one time the villagers were fighting constantly over the strange object. With the constant fights XI, the tribal leader decided to return the object to the gods with the intent of restoring peace (Krippendorff,2016).

The tribe comprises quite a very gentle individual. The tribe does not punish children nor do they speak harshly to them. As a result, children's behavior is quite exceptional. The tribal games are not only inventive but are also charming. In the event, the family intends to feast on meat the hunter does dip his arrows in a tranquilizer made from a brew. The hunting spree is quite exceptional as the hunter does engage the animal in a conversation like the initiative in an attempt to explain the reason behind his actions. The exceptional trend of the bushmen from the rest is that "they have no possession at all." Where they dwell one owns completely nothing. The bushmen know that the only existing hard thing was either wood or bone.

Throughout the movie the white man is visualized," as the bigger civilization". The wielding of technology, as well as the white man's culture, portrays him as an authoritative person. The positives of the African related movie based on the African culture its innocence as well as its backwardness.

Major cultural notions

Socialization –incorporation of ideas as well as images about one's culture not to mention the world in general. This details the tradition taught to the society as well as passed to the forthcoming generation. In the socialization process adolescents as well as children get to acquire lifetime manners, beliefs as well as values (Erigha,.2015).

Ritual-this entails the consistent as well as repetitive activities whose social meaning is rather not literary nor is it physically bound. The main objective of ritual is to give human life form where Xi the leader takes the mandate to dispose of the strange (evil) object.

Symbol- the use of symbols evokes rather strong emotional responses in the event of usage. Icons are specific types of symbols. The use of the click sound to the Kalahari natives while speaking incorporates the use of an exclamation. The coke bottle signified the productivity as well as a waste of the new civilization.

The journey the hero takes not only tests his character but also tests his courage as well. The idea behind the journey is getting to know one's self as well as recognition of life denial for those who are considered cowards this entails those who cannot make the journey.
