When faced with a serious security incident or event, it’s essential for the first responder and the incident response team (IRT) to remain calm and analyze the situation. That can be a difficult task when a ransomware attack is spreading through an organization’s computer systems and network, or a tornado is bearing down on a critical data center, and you don’t know how to respond appropriately.
