REFLECTION II ASSIGNMENT
The Reflection II Assignment is based on the videos, "Cultural Criticism and Transformation," Parts One and Two.*
In these videos, my colleague, Prof. bell hooks, uses her decades - long research into, exploration of, and publishing about the intersectionality of gender, race, and class in popular culture to inform the discourse on these topics we have had as a class throughout this semester.
First, however, it is critical that you review the videos that describe what a reflection is, what it is not, how it is organized, and what it designed to accomplish.**
Your one - page reflection assignment should accomplish the goals identified. Your reflection must adhere to these dimensions: double - spaced, one - inch margins, 12 - point font. Your identification information must be placed in the header [see example above].
Monday, April 9, provides you an opportunity to begin this assignment.
Finally, the Reflection II assignment is due for hard - copy submission on April 20 [the last day of our class before WAU examination period].
No late papers will be accepted.

[initially presented on your 397 – 01 syllabus]; and, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1xkFgHAWD0 Remember, your reflection is NOT a summary. It should give me a good understanding of how you feel or what you think about information presented in the hooks’s videos. It should include a thesis statement, three central points, support these points with hooks’ quotations and real – world examples, and, a strong conclusion.
