This data includes nasal turbinates that are swollen, boggy, and have a pale, bluish color. The watery secretions and appearance of being tired and in no distress are also part of the objective data. Objective data is what you, the examiner finds versus subjective data which is what the patient tells you (Brickley, 2017). This condition appears to be allergic rhinitis that is being aggravated during the changes in season and most likely due to her cats as well. This does not appear to be an asthmatic type issue, more of a common allergen irritation the nasal passages, Asking questions about this patient's conditions would help confirm this diagnosis. I would start by asking when she got her cats and when she started noticing these symptoms coming on. If it was shortly after getting cats, this could be the cause. She has already stated that these symptoms get worse in the spring and fall so that question is already answered. I would also want to ask what she is doing to treat this condition.
