A 10% (5 point) penalty will be assessed for doing any of the following “Do NOTs”:

· Do NOT change the file name.

· Do NOT change the file format.

· Do NOT add or delete tabs, unless instructed to do so.

· Do NOT add or delete columns and/or rows, unless instructed to do so.

All amounts included in your answers on the JEs tab should be a cell reference or formula.

· No credit will be given for hard coded amounts.

The tabs should be named and presented in the following order:

· JEs

· Support for JE 1

· Support for JE 3

· Raw Data

· Recommend

JEs tab

Column A = Requirement number (1, 2, 3, 4)

Column B = Description

· (1) Row 3 = Remove consignments tracked in the perpetual system

· (2) Row 7 = Use Inventory Over/Short to adjust to match the count results (the first journal entry)

· (2) Row 11 = Use Cost of Goods Sold to record distributions during the count (the second journal entry)

· (3) Row 15 = Use Loss Due to Decline in Value to record known spoilage

· (4) Row 19 = TIE OUT

Column C = Account names (or description for TIE OUT)

· Remember to indent the accounts name(s) being credited

Column D = Dr. amount; this should be a formula or cell reference

· No credit will be given for hard coded amounts.

Column E = Cr. amount; this should be a formula or cell reference (or amounts for TIE OUT)

· No credit will be given for hard coded amounts.

Use the following descriptions (Column C) for the TIE OUT

All amounts should be entered in Column E as a formula or cell reference

No credit will be given for hard coded amounts

Recommend tab (place answers in a Text Box on the Recommend tab)

Your answers to the questions should be written as if you are presenting to the hospital's Board of Directors. Connections between the data and case information should be exhibited. Discuss at the critical level. Critical discussion includes your opinion of items mentioned, but also includes the reasons you hold that opinion, and why it may be inconsistent or consistent with what you've learned. Justify your reasoning with facts. How does what you're presenting affect present and future situations? Proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation should be used.
