MV-UG Week 9-Assignment 9-General Instructions:

1. See Assignment 2’s example for how to copy the bolded parts below as instructed. Please copy only and ALL the black bold single-spaced parts in Word Arial 12 type, and present answers double-spaced and with all print in plain/regular Word Arial 12 type.

Do not make a formal APA style cover sheet. Use only the three-line heading shown below at the top of your first page. Bold type your name by the indicated place below with only a single space between the heading and the body or Q & A section.

2. Do not copy/place any italicized instructions for/on your submitted assignment.

3 . Refer only to the assigned textbook and PPTs for this assignment, unless you are otherwise instructed to cite other designated sources, such as a supplement, an article or movie. All comment and application questions related to the assigned textbook or designated sources need multiple references in multiple places. Alluding to the text or just lifting an occasional quote will not do. Blend related text counsel with the response. Answers need to be plain and specific, and not vague and general. The instructor needs to see clear written evidence that the student has read, studied, understood, and properly applied text principles to personal and/or life examples.

Assignment Nine: Analyzing Motivational Behaviors

Assigned Textbook Reading: Review the 7 Habits.

Refer to all parts of the Habit 7 textbook as instructed.

Look over and refer to Week 9 PPTs 9a/b and Week 10 PPTs 10a/b.

For this exercise, along with the textbook and the PPT parts, refer to an instructor approved movie with a motivational success theme.

Responses should be different or greatly expanded beyond previous answers.

The grade letter will depend on clarity, depth, and quality of the answers.

9.1 Personal Opinion: Review your answers to questions 2.2 a-c in Assignment 2. How close to your goals of what you hoped to gain or improve did the result come? Please add other relative comments.

9.2 Movie Introduction and Comments:

a. Name the title of your movie choice and its release year. Identify the main actors and actresses and the characters they played in the movie. Summarize the story mainly in your words.

b. Add your personal critique of your chosen movie that explains why and/or why not did the main characters display real life reactions to motivational success. What main point from the movie did you learn or were reminded that would benefit your life, if done or avoided?

9.3 Movie Analysis Based on Course Studies:

2. Rather than centering on details about the story, make brief references to your movie plot with no or very few movie quotes.
