Instructions

2. Review the information in the Getting Started section. 

3. Read  TheoMedia chapters 5 and 6.

4. Write a 1-2 page reflection paper responding to two or more of the prompts below.

a. In chapter 5, Byers indicated that creation is one form of media God uses to communicate with us. Do you see God when you look at creation? If so, when and where? How does this impact your spiritual formation?

b. In chapter 6, Byers discussed how God instructed the Israelites to use technology. How does this realization inform your view of technology and how leaders might use it today?

c. Byers admitted that our lives are saturated by media. How could you lessen your saturation of media or refocus your media use to help you grow in your spiritual formation or leadership instead of, as Neil Postman wrote, “amusing ourselves to death”?

5. Be sure to format your paper using APA and correct citations.
