2 pages within 12 hrs

Paper must be two pages, double-spaced, 12 point, Times New Roman font, with one-inch margins.  Include a separate reference page.  No title page necessary.  

The paper should be based on a news story related to an environmental health topic included on the midterm exam.  The news story should be from a reputable source (e.g. not someone’s blog).

Topics included on the midterm exam:

· Topic #1 - Water resources and drinking water treatment

· Topic #2 - Water pollution and wastewater treatment

· Topic #3 - Solid and hazardous wastes

· Topic #4 - Health effects of noise pollution 

The paper should be structured as follows:

· Up to one half page summary of environmental health news story.

· Remainder of the two pages exploring the environmental health topic further.  Use the textbook, lecture material, or reputable sources (e.g. EPA, WHO, etc.) to discuss the topic.

· List references on a separate reference page. Include reference for news story.
