1. What is an opinion you have?  Health is the most important thing in one man’s life. At my young age, I am supposed to pay more attention to body management because I have enough energy to bring out the best in me. Body management is another form of saying self-discipline. I am able to make my willpower stronger during exercises. 2. Where did it come from?  I used to love eating anything the sweet and the fatty thing, but I didn’t care about my weight before. The speed of gaining weight is really fast, and I hate exercise more and more as I am getting fatter and fatter. Until I was saying the number on the scale is 220 pounds, I was shocked. I am realized that I was overweight. My life is inconvenient, like I was out of breath when I walking the stairs. Also, I saw a lot discrimination against fat people in the daily life and I heard a lot people laugh at me. My body healthy is under the threat and my self-esteem is hurting as well. 3. How does this opinion influence your behavior?  The first step is determined to work out and set up my goal. My primary goal is losing 60 pounds. I started eating healthy, so I cut out all sugar, all processed foods like fried food and snacks. I forced myself to work out one hour every day in the gym. I hired a personal trainer to instruct me. I started lifting weights and doing circuit training, like weights, push-ups, squats. The time I can walk on the elliptical machine is longer and longer. When I adapt the exercise intensity, I started doing some hiit exercises. 4. What would make you change your behavior?  Losing weight is a slow and painful process. The hardest thing is to insist. I had to fight the temptation to eat and keep working out even I was in aches and pains. In fact, many times I have already wanted to give up. There is another reason is there are questions and doubts from people around me. I am estranged from my friends because I gave up the chances of going out to eat with them. Some strangers will laugh at a fat girl was exercising in a big sweat. There are many difficulties I’ve met in the process of losing weight. I have stopped exercising several times, but when I recalled the hardness I did, I will snap out of it. 5. What do others think of this behavior? Not everyone were support me when I lose weight. I am estranged from my friends because I gave up the chances of going out to eat with them. My parents were objecting me on a diet, and they force me to eat because they afraid I'm malnourished. The most irritating thing is that some people even said makes insensitive remarks, and they told me to give up because they didn’t see some changes on my body shape. I am glad that I will persist even when others don't understand! Fortunately, I also met some friends in the gym, they understand how hard to insist exercising and we encourage each other a lot.
