I've attached your document with my comments on the annotated bibliography highlighted in

yellow. I would encourage you to review your notes from our visit to the library on conducting

literature reviews of appropriate scholarship. Too, I have attached two different examples of

resources that are pertinent to one of the concepts you identified as a research focus: religious

identity.

Some additional points:

1. Please be sure to review your writing prior to submitting any assignments or additional

materials. You might consider seeing what resources are available through the Writing Center

though their policies for in-person meetings have changed. You can learn more here:

2. Your research question is quite broad and needs clarification.

3. I'm not exactly clear on how and why you selected your concepts and am happy to offer

additional suggestions. Furthermore, you have not identified how you intend to study those

concepts.

Regarding items 2 and 3, I would strongly recommend making an appointment with me (via

Google chat) so that we can try and address these issues. Reworking these foundational items

is necessary in order to move forward with your project.
