DESCRIPTION:

In your team, write a 1,200-1,500 word (4-5 pages) case study analysis essay (approximately ¾-1 page/person in a team of 5), answering the case study’s questions. Each team will be assigned their own case study from the case studies folder.

Content:

You and your team will take your assigned case study and write about it in an essay format, answering the case study’s questions and using the following structure;

Structure of your essay:

1. Introduction: identify the key problem/s, mention why it is important to discuss this problem/s and what the relevance is to the cost control topic and make a thesis statement.

2. Background Information  – Include some relevant facts and issues from the case study.

3. Solution  – Provide one realistic solution to the problem. In this part, you will be answering the case study’s questions.

4. Recommendations – Identify specific strategies to accomplish the proposed solution (In other words, what management should do to solve the issues mentioned in the case study). In this part, you will also be answering the case study questions.

5. Conclusion

Essay developing schedule suggestion:

1: Make teams, receive your assigned case study and divide work among team members

2: Identify key points and develop a plan

3: Develop structure of your case study essay

4: Write and submit the essay

You must upload the case study analysis essay to Turnitin on Friday 20, 1 hour before the class time.
