Following the structure and formatting of the Student Example Cover Letter (SECL), list two writing-related things you’ve learned in this course and explain how you learned them. You may quote from your work in this class.

 

You may instead choose two writing-related things you’re struggling with and explain why you’re having a tough time with them.

 

Note: This is a short version of the Cover Letter you will be writing for your portfolio at the end of the course.

Format your Cover Letter as a business letter following the SECL—do not use the MLA Formatting template. Single-space the letter. Post it as a Word doc.
