You can now either 1) check an existing paper (will have to open document and then go through the setup options and then hit Recheck Document), or 2) begin writing your paper. With the new settings, your own Spelling and Grammar Checker will find all the errors in mechanics that you made; this will allow you to fix the errors before submitting your paper for grading.
