This document is to be used for NURS 6003Transition to Graduate Study for Nursing to complete Assessments 1-6. Just as importantly the document serves to organize your thoughts about planning for your academic and professional success.

Notes: The Walden library has a lot of resources to help achieve student excel academically. Notes: I chose this person because she is very resourceful and will be a great support in my program. She has been an FNP for the past 4 years, and started as an LPN and worked her way up, she was a psych nurse for over 8 yrs, now she is the NP for Molina healthcare, and she does tremendous work with our member’s. She is knowledgeable and able to work with any member to help them manage their health in a good way. She is willing to mentor me through my education and career.

Notes: This person is my direct supervisor. She has been a nurse for over 25 years. She has a lot of clinical experience as well as administrational experience. She is a great mentor in my practice as a nurse and is willing to help in any way possible to make me achieve my academic goals. This first week of school, she made an excel spread sheet for me with time slots to help me manage my time wisely for both school work and also to be able to do my job on time.

Week 3 | Part 3: Strategies to Promote Academic Integrity and Professional Ethics

I have analyzed the relationship between academic integrity and writing, as well as the relationship between professional practices and scholarly ethics. I have also identified strategies I intend to pursue to maintain integrity and ethics of my academic work while a student of the MSN program, as well as my professional work as a nurse throughout my career. The results of these efforts are shared below.

I have identified one topic of interest for further study. I have researched and identified one peer-reviewed research article focused on this topic and have analyzed this article. The results of these efforts are shared below.

Identify each specialty and describe the focus and the role that graduates are prepared for.
