Abstract

Global warming is an international issue. Global warming is caused by increased concentrations of gases such as CO2 and methane in the atmosphere. Industrial facilities, such as electrical power plants that use fossil fuels, have contributed to the production of these gases. However, countries such as Germany, are increasing their production of solar and wind energy as well as using more hybrid and electric cars. In addition, the United States has started adding more charging station for hybrid cars. Nevertheless, the sea level continues to rise from 1 mm to 3 mm each year due to global warming.
