NAME: _______________________ Assigned #:______Pres. Date: _____________

PRESENTATION TOPIC: ________________________________________________

NOTE: ITEMS # 1 -3 ARE DUE THE MORNING YOU PRESENT, (11:00am). PAPER COPIES ONLY- NO

EXCEPTIONS.

1. FACT SHEET (1 page single-spaced). Make sure the following is included: Your “fact sheet”

should include an introduction to the culture or primate species. (Museum: cultural group, time-period, key

facts; primates: geographic locations, natural habitats, typical social units & behaviors).

2. Reflective Analysis (1 page) single-spaced. Provide an overview and brief analysis of your

research topic, its connection to the course, and what you learned. Be sure to apply at least 4 relevant anthro

terms, concepts and/or perspectives that we have covered throughout the semester; highlight or underline

these. Sources: On a separate sheet, provide a list of sources used for the Fact Sheet and Reflective Analysis.

Be sure to provide COMPLETE and accurate citations in either APA or MLA format.

NOTE: The instructor is the audience for your Fact Sheet & Reflective Analysis. Your peers are the target audience for your

presentation….plan accordingly. Keep in mind that you are receiving two separate grades (1 for the reflective analysis and 1 for your

power point and presentation).

3. Power Point and/or visual aids. Your classmates are your target audience. Keep in mind that your power point should be a visual aid for your peers NOT a crutch for your presentation- you are supposed to be the expert on this topic. Your power point should guide your presentation but you should never read off the power point. Make sure you properly cite1 your sources AND pictures. Do not simply “copy & paste” your Reflective Analysis sources. Again, plan accordingly. VIDEO: 30sec or less. Reminder: Time limit is 6-8 minutes per person. NOTE: All notes/cards used during the presentation must be submitted (include name & #). 4. Self-Evaluation. This is due the class period after you present. If you present on Thursday,

then your form is due by the following Tuesday. Keep in mind this is a confidential space for you to reflect on

the grade you feel you have earned on your FINAL project. Yes, this is mandatory and a requirement for your

final group project. This is not a space to ask for a grade…I do not give grades, you earn them.
