In your classes this year you are usually part of a working team. To effectively answer the following 4 questions you need to have taken a leading role in some team activity this semester. Leading roles can be:
a. sharing of expert information you know
b. sharing of expert experience you have
c. you volunteered to lead the group
d. you were volunteered to lead the group
e. someone needed to give a team member feedback, and no one else was willing to do it
After reviewing the tips for how to exert control without being too controlling answer the following questions:
1. Describe a time when you had to lead development of a detailed project plan including key milestones and due dates.
2. Describe a time when you were leading a team and realized a teammate made an obvious mistake. You then asked him what he could have done differently to avoid the error.
3. After a project is finished, you asked your teammates what could be done to improve the process for next time.
