Healthier Office Website Plan
Introduction
HEALTHIER OFFICE is the website name, which intends to change the way people order foods in offices and the kinds of food delivered. In the recent past, there have been numerous fast food companies coming up with an aim to deliver foods to people in offices and even homes. However, that raises a health issue since the companies only offer junk foods, which in most cases are not healthy for human consumption. HEALTHIER OFFICE therefore aims to bring a change and introduce a culture of delivering healthy and traditional foods to people in the offices. The increased demand for the fast foods is for the reason that people barely have time to prepare traditionally healthy foods due to their tight schedules. The website therefore aims at bringing to life again the healthy traditional foods to people regardless of their location.
Websites goals and objectives
Goals
When creating the website, there are specific goals that will be considered to ensure the purpose is effectively served. Remember that a website that is aimed at everyone most likely attracts no one. There is the need therefore to have specific goals for the website based on a target group.
Effective interaction interface
One of the goals is to come up with an effective interaction interface with the potential clients. When a user first visits a website, their first impression defines if they will continue accessing the website or not. The first goal will be to come up with an eye friendly website that will make the user want to access it the more (Abdallah, 2015).
Boost sales
The website is aimed at creating an interactive platform between the client and the company. We are aiming at supplying healthy foods to people in the offices on order. The website therefore must create an environment that will make the customers want to buy from us. The core goal is to ensure we enter the market, beat the fast food suppliers and become the market giant in health food supply.
Become an authoritative resource
As outlined above, the only online services available for food deliveries are the fast foods. There is no other company offering healthy foods and therefore we will the pioneers (Li, et al. 2016). There is the need to create the website therefore in a way it will be resourceful and which people can borrow from. It’s a new thing in the market and it must create an authoritative environment.
Promote brand building
HEALTHIER OFFICE website must be created in a way it will ensure brand building. Introducing a new service in the market may be challenging and to avoid inconveniences, we must create a website that will help build the brand. In building the brand, the website will therefore offer all the services needed including on time response to clients.
Objectives
Well-organized content
One of the main objectives of the HEALTHIER OFFICE website is well-organized content. As outlined above, the clients will be attracted by the kind of content they get on the website and how well it’s organized. If it’s using specific fonts and colors, there is the need to match them well to make them appealing to the eyes. The arrangement of the information like the kind of foods offered will also be fluent to ensure the client is not mixed up in the process of ordering.
User-friendly site
A website has the role of serving the client in an easier and better way. HEALTHIER OFFICE website aims at giving the clients a better and easier way to make orders for the healthy foods. Having an interface that is user friendly and easy to use will see many people want to use it, which will serve as a marketing strategy too (Li, et al. 2016).
Possibility of adding new content
The website will be used for years to come and with no doubt there are specific foods that may be introduced in the company. The objective therefore allows the website to easily incorporate new information when needed. The adding process should not in any case interfere with the current information.
Website`s purpose statement
To improve the quality of foods delivered by introducing healthy food stuffs to be delivered to offices while offering a convenient site for out clients to order the food and get them delivered.
Target Audience
The target audience are mostly the people in offices who have taken the trend of ordering fast foods on the basis that they do not have time to prepare traditionally healthy foods. People working in offices are sometimes overworked and they cannot get a chance to decide on what best to prepare, being forced to buy from fast foods (Abdallah, 2015). The foods they buy are not healthy and this puts them at danger of contracting certain diseases including obesity. The wants of those working in offices is access of healthy foods. From a research I did, there are many people who would want a scheme whereby they get access to quality and healthy foods. For long, they have been feeding on junk foods, which have nothing but adverse effects on their health. There is the need to have a system that allows them access to healthy food anytime they want. The target audience need to have healthy foods delivered to their offices. They would want to prepare the kind of traditional foods at home but that is not possible (He, 2015. January). Most of the time they are working in the office and therefore the time to do so is limited. The need is therefore to have a steady flow of these kind of foods, which will improve their health regardless of the location. Having healthy foods delivered at their door steps will be a want well addressed.
The likely expectation that the audience may want from the website is a variety of traditional healthy foods and specific combinations of the same. They may want a website where they can pick several foods and direct how they want them prepared (Cajas, et al. 2018). Remember that the website is intended to have all types of traditional healthy foods and therefore the choice will be for the customer. They are likely to want to order a specific mixture, which the website will definitely offer.
Pages to include in the website
Contact page
One of the pages to include is the contact pages where the clients will easily communicate with the company. The contact page will involve links where if a client for instance ants to send us an email, they will be directed to their email with our address on it.
Menu
To effectively offer food services to our clients, we will have a website page on menu where they can choose their best meal. All the available foodstuffs must be included and their pictures attached. This will make the site eye friendly and attractive.
Food images page
As outlined earlier, there will be the need to have picture in motion of the food we offer and also videos where clients will watch if they are not willing to read or go through other images.
Ordering page
After the client have chosen their favorite meal, they will be directed to a page where they can place their order. The page will be liked to their account so they can order with a specific account for matters of payment.
Another important attribute that will be included will be the links to our social media sites in case a client would want to interact with us through them.
Value added content
One of the value added content to ensure that the website serves its intended purpose is responsive layout. Remember that the clients can access the site from any device. There is the need therefore to use fonts, picture sizes and proportions that will be easily responsive to any device. Another aspect is the analytics, which will ensure there is the monitoring of how the website works (King, et al. 2016). How are the customers reacting and what percentage are coming back to use the website. The data will help determine how well the website serves the clients and if there is need for any changes or improvements.
Linear Website Structure
To ensure that the users get a friendly experience while using the website, we will incorporate the linear structure. The linear structure gives the chance to view a page at a time which means there will be easier and systematic access to the website (King, et al. 2016). The client will also be able to follow a specific order when placing the order. No confusions or need to go back to a certain page to complete their order.
Design plan
The website will have a HOME page, which will be what the client will see after accessing it. The home page will have the information of the services we offer and motion picture to appeal to the user. The next page will be the SERVICES page where the user will find the kind of foods we offer and their picture. The client will proceed to the ORDERING page after they have seen the kind of foods available and are contented to make an order. There will be the CONTACT US link at the end of every page. ABOUT US will also be linked to any other pages below the information.
