According to my thoughts regarding the week 1 study, I would be explaining systematically the learning that I had accrued from referring to different examples such as the Brisbane Airport Parallel Runway, Australian National Audit Office, and AS 4120-1994 Code of tendering. While studying regarding Brisbane Airport Parallel Runway and the example that it sets for today’s project management and project managers. Every successful project has much to offer to the world regarding its success.

Brisbane Airport New Parallel Runway project and the documented fact about the project offer opportunities to the project managers to learn and adopt good practices. Project managers can learn to take appropriate action with the help of Adaptation of Good Practices for short AGP that project manager can draw from a successful project like the Brisbane Airport New Parallel Runway.

The particular case study of Brisbane Airport Parallel Runway is indeed one among the 16 series of case studies that stands as the best example of Adaptation of Good Practices. Regardless of differences of a project that a project manager handles and the difference of location of the project, the success stories of their development with the Adaptation of Good Practices are indeed profound. The lessons that we had learnt from the good practices and good practice adaptation from such projects would definitely spell success for any given project.

Project managers need to implement those learnings into their projects. As in the study of the last week, we have had an overview of the key lessons from practitioners’ experiences. Moreover, the key lesson teaches and encourages project managers to understand that they are not alone in facing those challenges. The increasing community of adaptation practitioners encourages project managers and the team of project management to be a part of a community that focuses on learning from others experiences.
