A proven method for students to learn and develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes of professionals is through Discussions/Case Study methods. Additionally, all professionals need to continually stay current in their field. The rubric for the presentation and its discussion is attached. The in-class discussion will be an individual presentation. Each presenter is required to:

1. Pick an Article that directly relate to Construction Sustainability. • The article can be a topic of general interest, thesis, dissertation, current

construction project, based on experience or internship, related to another class project, independent study, expansion on class learning, etc.

• Below are some examples of articles and topics for your reference.

2. Analyze the Article by addressing critical Questions, some of which are: • What is the intent of the Article? • Why is this topic important and how does it apply to the discipline of

construction project management/ labor/ leadership? • What is the methodology adopted in the study? What new information did you

learn and would you recommend future students read this paper?

3. Present the Article in 2 Minutes in class • The sequence of the presentation will be random. Presentations will take place

on the 26th of October 2020. Please upload your presentation

4. Instructions to Uploading your presentation ONTO CANVAS by midnight 26th of October 2020. 1. Create presentation slides and record your voice as required in each slide 2. Go to export and choose to create a video option. 3. Select 480P and use recorded timing and narration 4. Finally, create the video and check if the video works correctly with the

sound.

5. Provoke questions and initiate an open discussion.
