Thera are many important processes in the project management or the portfolio management right from the initiation of the project to the closure of the project. All theprocesses in project management are monitored by the manager or management. Development of work breakdown schedule (WBS), controlling the project activities, defining the scope of the project and ensuring the availability of required resources are few of the significant aspects of the project management. |

The cost-benefit ratio is a significant process or method applied in the justification of the project. Through the cost-benefit ratio, the project is justified if the value of the benefits of the project is more than the value of costs in the project and vice versa. i.e., the project is not justified when the value of benefits is less than the value of costs in the project. |
