Influence in negotiations is one of the essential components that dictates and determines the outcome of the talks. Control plays a vital role since the ability to manipulate a result is crucial, and the issue intended is always meant to benefit the organization. People who participate in negotiations need to have excellent and appropriate negotiation skills, including the ability to influence to have their needs catered and the need for the organization.

I selected the article due to its inclusivity in the role if influence to determine the outcome of the negotiation. It has also touched in power as part of the force. And it has recognized that importance plays a vital role in negotiations (Kim, 2018). I agree with the author of the article that he has conclusively agreed with my opinion on the essentiality of influence to manipulate the outcomes. Also, it has touched on the features of a person who can inflict a positive result during negotiations.

The article was easy to understand since it has used simple language and technical terms have been explained. The examples used in the report are readily available and can be distinguished from any background. The author did his best in describing and expounding the necessary skills like power as it relates directly to influence, and they bring out a positive result in negotiations. The author of the article could improve on the roles played by the influence by touching on some scenarios like what is the negotiator is nit persuasive but has skills required. What role is played by prior knowledge of negotiations and how it could influence results in talks? The auricle is beneficial in industries since the outputs from sectors need to be sold, and to get the attention of the buyers, there is a need to negotiate; hence negotiation is directly related to influencing.The author could use secondary sources and primary sources to get information for his research, and primary source are useful since they are original, and information collected is from the ground. As a follow-up, the author ought to have conducted more research on the relationship between power and influence in negotiation in the same document. The user can benefit by making use of the work positively and understand the requirements needed in influencing the outcomes of negotiations. The article has helped in shaping my thinking in that I can now adhere and nurture the skills required to change the outcomes of the negotiations.

I selected the article since it is evident that the European countries are influential in the global market. The article talks about the influence of the Europeans in negotiations in the global market. They agree with the article since the European world is more developed, and they have been performing well in the market by availing quality output in the market. The article was simple because it has used a language that is easily understood, and the technical terms discussed conclusively, especially the terms used in commerce and international trade (Grabbe, 2019). The author did well, especially in the way the global market performance is influenced by the Europeans or the industrial or first world countries and how they influence the business partners. The author could have done better by discussing the challenges they face when trying to control the buyers in the international market bearing in mind that at times there could be strategic challenges.

The article is influential especially based on nationalities where if a country has bad blood with a certain country, it could be a big challenge to influence them to buy from them or establish good diplomatic ties; hence there is a need to adhere to diplomatic roles that are friendly. To improve the research, the author ought to have traveled to those countries, especially to the commerce of business ministry, and get the information stored for the organizations participating in international trade. Also, the market performance is excellent when understood because it will determine the efficiency or how effective the product has been accepted in the market. For follow up purposes, the author needs to have discussed the advantages and the challenges experienced in influencing the buyers, especially if they were the colonial masters. I have personally gained critical knowledge in international trade, and I can now know how to apply the techniques discussed in the article.

I have chosen the article since it has touched in the significant influence that has been caused by macroeconomics in international trade to influence negotiations. I agree with the author in the riles he has discussed if macroeconomics and how it plays a vital role in negotiations. A country or an organization with good macroeconomics elements are likely to be influential in negotiations. I agree with the author since the power and influence caused by macroeconomics in negotiations is strong and cannot go unmentioned based on influence (Assanseitova, Svinukhov, & Kovaleva, 2018). The article is simple to understand, especially if one is equipped with the knowledge of macro-economics, and the language used is a common one in the school of economics. The challenging terms are discussed in detail hence easiness in understanding and easy adaptability.

In my opinion, the author did his level best in discussing the role of macroeconomics and the essentiality of it in managing and effectively manipulating or influencing negotiations hence it would have significantly impacted positively in influence in negotiations especially bearing in mind that advanced countries are influential in talks and they have good micro and macro-economic performance. It was important that an author could have dealt with The author could have done better by taking into consideration the impact of both micro and macro-economic roles of macroeconomics in various economies and also the cultural behavior and beliefs of the people in negotiations. It was important that the author could have advanced research by conducting qualitative and qualitative analysis by getting firsthand information from primary sources and secondary sources. To conduct a follow-up, the researcher must look into the performance of countries in influencing negotiations via the influence of macroeconomics. The user could benefit by improving on macroeconomics and use the knowledge in advancing negotiations. I have personally gained that I can make use of the macroeconomics knowledge in promoting negotiation skills.
