As you complete this assignment, you will find yourself exploring the key traits of successful leaders. You will discover your traits and consider your strengths and weakness. You will also reflect on how you can continue to develop your leadership traits to strengthen your function as a leader. Continue to keep in mind the need to think forward and consider how each activity can contribute to your final course project. Capture key ideas that might help you prepare for your Leader2Leader dialogue and be part of your key principles and practices in the course project.

a. Based on the scores you received on the Leadership Traits Questionnaire, what are your strongest leadership traits? What are your weakest traits? Discuss.
b. In this chapter, we discussed six leaders. As you read about these leaders, which ones did you find most appealing? What was it about the leadership that you found remarkable? Discuss.
c. As you reflect on your own leadership traits, do you think some of them are more “you” and authentic than others? Have you always been the kind of leader you are today or have your traits changed over time? Do you think you will be a stronger leader five years from now? Explain.
d. Although changing leadership traits is not easy, which of your leadership traits would you like to change? Specifically, what actions do you need to take to change your traits? What barriers could keep you from changing? Given that you believe this change will improve your overall leadership, what can you do to overcome these barriers?
