1. What is the purpose of this letter of inquiry? To whom is it being sent, and what is the connection?

2. What year was the organization founded? What year was it incorporated? Georgia Community Foundations, Inc. was founded in 1991 and it became incorporated in 1992.

3. What is the mission of the organization? The mission of this organization is to promote and support charitable and educational activities in Georgia and to provide philanthropic advice and charitable giving services to individuals donors and, when designated, members of their families.

4. What are the long-term goals for the organization? Their long terms goals consist of empowering parents though educational freedom, building communities through faith-based and community initiatives, educating the next generation of Georgians through scholarships, promoting religious liberty through law and policy.

5. What programs does the organization provide that support these goals? They have four programs that support their goals. (1) Educational freedom program which offers Georgia GOAL scholarship Program, Charter and community schools (2) Scholarship Program, which have 3 scholarships under this program (3) Religious Liberty Program which focuses on Christianity and Democracy, Solidarity Center for Law and Justice, P.C. and International Human Rights.

6. What is the need in the community that you seek funding to address? The need for the community for me to seek funding is building communities through faith based community initiatives.

8. What does the organization propose to do about this need? The organization propose to be hands on with the community by coming into the community and focusing on the youth and their educating

9. What outcome does the organization anticipate after the first year of funding? The outcome that I expect after the first year of funding is to have more youth involved and be able to offer more scholarships and being more involved as a whole.

10. What is the total cost of the proposed idea for the first year, or what is the cost to expand the current program? (Or multiple years if you plan to request multiple-year funding?) How much do you want from this funder?

11. Who will be contacting the funder to determine its interest and when? Whom sh ould the funder contact for more information?
