Online shopping is a form of electronic business, which permits the consumers to buy goods and services directly from retailers over the internet by the use of a web browser. There are a number of online corporations whereby Amazon and eBay inclusive (Popescu, 2015). Online retailing is mostly advantageous because of various reason for instance it makes the market access very easy and widening of the market.

Regarding online retail, different companies uses various strategies to enhance marketing. To begin with, giving discounts to the customers is a crucial way of improving online market because it attracts many customers thus, buying the goods and services quickly. Equally, the organizations enhance online retail through posting daily content to ensure continued growth. This is the easiest way for a company to grow its social community over time through consistent posting of the content.

Additionally, the use of images is very significant when posting more especially when using Facebook platform. The main reason for using the images in such platform is to increase the engagement to the consumers thus, attracting them to buy goods (Carrillo, Vakharia, & Wang, 2014). Lastly, experimenting with different titles in the blog posts is a very necessary strategy to be used by companies. The title of a blog carries a lot of weight because it attracts the attention of the customers. For example, good titles should use everyday language and must be kept short.

There are many online stores with different products, yet, the way they use different strategies is what defines their success of failure. Examples of such stores include first, 360 shoes, which is an interesting store when I evaluate it. Considering the delivery strategy and the communication with the consumers, the store is straightforward to the customers, for instance when deliveries are supposed to be done, those involved are always straight to the point and works according to what they say. This reveals trust to the customers who in return by the goods (shoes) without any fear. Another example of online store is the Emerson Fry, which is a well-known name in the world of fashion. This online store blend and blog on the same page and this is the greatest strategy of targeting more customers. They enhance communication to their consumers through promotions, which act a key way of customer attraction. Similarly, they employ delivery strategy in a unique way by ensuring that any customer orders are delivered on time.

Drop shipment is a delivery of products from the original seller direct to a buyer without passing through the warehouse of a retailer. The strategy fasten the delivery of goods and services because, the goods are sold directly to the customers. Organizational delivery structures on the other hand largely differ in term of hierarchy, which defines the roles, and responsibilities of different individuals within the organization. During the delivery of the goods or services, the organizational structure has to be followed thus, making the delivery process slow.

The comparison of drop shipment strategy with non-retailing reveals that, online retail differs greatly in a number of ways, which include the following. First, drop shipment minimizes risk because; the business is less susceptible to loss due to changes in trends. Similarly, the direct delivery from retailers to customers does not need money to be paid upfront when acquiring inventory. In other words, this allows the business not pan-out. The non-online retain on the other hand needs money to be paid in order to acquire inventory thus becoming expensive.

Secondly, drop shipment strategy is different from non-online retailing because, it lowers the cost since new products are less expensive to launch. This means that they do not need investment before they are sold. Additionally, drop shipment is different since it provides

practicability. This means that storage facilities such as warehouses are not required what is needed is the website where the items to be sold are to be displayed. Lastly, the direct delivery offers convenience as the hassle of packing products are already packed. Whereas in non-online retailing, the suppliers have a task of packing the products for themselves hence, causing inconveniences.

Regarding the research on online retailing, I have discovered that, online retailing is the form of electronic business that allow consumers to buy goods and services directly from the internet by the use of web browser (Popescu, 2015). In online retailing, the following strategies are used in the enhancement of the business; giving discounts to customers, using different titles to blog posts to attract many consumers, posting daily content to ensure continued growth and use of images in social platforms like Facebook as a means of consumer attraction.

Amazon eBay and Alibaba are the largest online retailers. Amazon is the biggest selection of books music and videos. The three are operating in a unique way that is why they are among the world’s largest online retailers. They use a number of strategies, which enhances the continuous selling for instance delivery strategy whereby they ensure the customers’ needs are catered for to ensure trust. Another important strategy is that communication to customers is highly regarded. Both team product and strategy are very important to online retailing for the future because they enhance the implementation of strategies to meet overall goals and objectives.
