report
I am currently working with iteam Inc. As a business analyst my job is to understand and develop the requirements and deliver the results expected by stakeholders. My typical day-to-day responsibilities include Assisting with the business case, Planning and monitoring: Also collaborate with DR team to anticipate the disaster and monitor the security breaches. Eliciting requirements collect the necessary requirements that might be needed at the time of disaster. Requirements organization: Organize the requirement and the send the report to Project manager. Start working with off shore teams to explain them the BCP and DRP
In my recent project we are developing an application portal that has set of applications used by third party clients. They are used for creating an individual's insurance profile, claims, Billing information and Provider's application that has list of clinic, vision and dental providers. The application is a web-based healthcare inquiry system, which is available to physicians, clinics and hospitals—all participants in the healthcare delivery system.
As A business analyst I had to understand every aspect of the clients requirement and made sure the final product delivered is functional and upto expectations. As this project is an development of an application, my knowledge on Security design and cryptography I was able to understand that the application should have a very strong security design as to avoid any cyber attacks and hacks into the application. Based on this knowledge I was able to provide my client with insights on security features the application should have. From there I was able to breakdown requirements very effectively including the security features into very well written functional and non-functional requirements and passed on to development team.
I understood that there is a need to develop both functional and non-functional requirements specifications and maintain documentation for block chain based enterprise software. Then gather requirements to develop solutions and alternatives. I was able to be the focal point in reviewing of company cryptography system and process, compile and present requested documents and oversee systems, process and document changes. Also was reporting and altering requirement based on business, security and end user needs. Maintained communication with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. Due to the course knowledge I was able to communicate effectively with cryptographic technology architectures and worked closely with other teams in the security environment ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of cryptography and key management services to business functions and applications.
Once all requirements have been met and the IT solution delivered, the business analyst’s role shifts to maintenance, or preventing and correcting defects; enhancements, or making changes to increase the value provided by the system; and operations and maintenance, or providing system validation procedures, maintenance reports, deactivation plans, and other documents, plans and reports. Currently we are in third stage of the development and very soon will be going into QA and UAT processes testing the application on all aspects including the security. I say with my knowledge and education I got from course I was able to take a different approach on the project, which is helping me take right decisions, which I need to develop my carrier as business analyst.
