Use of Technology in the Classroom
Students are permitted to use a laptop during the class if they are using the equipment to access appropriate PowerPoint slides or relevant material, or to take notes. E-mailing and accessing inappropriate sites (i.e. Facebook, non-relevant material, etc.) is not permitted.
Students choosing to attend class must TURN OFF phones, iPods, Blackberrys, etc. Listening to music, making/accepting phone calls, sending/receiving text messages in a classroom environment is rude, unprofessional and not permitted.
STUDENTS ENGAGING IN ANY INAPPROPRIATE ACTIVITIES, AS DETAILED ABOVE, WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE CLASSROOM.
