Firstly, many thanks for submitting your dissertation Binbin. This is an original research project that focuses on museums mobile applications and visitors' interactions.

Here below you will find detailed feedback with recommendations on each section of your work:

Introduction

Your dissertation begins with an executive summary. This offers an overview of the study but it is rather brief and some sections lack clarity. An abstract is the first thing a reader sees and therefore should be comprehensive and engaging at the same time. The introduction chapter provides an interesting and extended analysis of the research background. The chapter ends with a brief outline of the dissertation. What I am missing here is a discussion of the problem statement/research rationale and your research questions (please see my comments on your draft). Your section 1.2 is therefore unfocused. This is very surprising given that you have worked hard to develop your RQs.

Literature review

The chapter offers some analysis of theories and constructs that pertain to your area of research. Although more theories can be included, I see a good improvement compared to earlier drafts. That said, more should be done to strengthen your arguments. Whilst you present a good list of interesting studies on the topic, these are not well integrated in a discussion. In addition, your section on consumers'interaction is slightly unfocused and would require more work.

Methodology

This chapter provides an assessment of the methodological choices undertaken. Justifications for the choices made are provided at all times but they should be supported by relevant literature. In addition to research method and technique and sample size, this chapter should include an analysis of the research philosophy, sampling technique and data analysis technique as well as ethical constraints. Limitations can be added in the conclusion chapter and socio- demographics would be better in the analysis section.

Data analysis

In this section you are supposed to briefly discuss the process you underwent to identify the themes and you should discuss your themes and sub-themes (Please see Braun's and Clarke's article and their recommended steps). Each theme needs to be developed in the light of your research questions. The discussion should be supported by previous literature and relevant quotes. I am afraid to say, as it is, this seems another literature review and not an analysis of your data.

Conclusion

The discussion is rather unfocused and it is hard to say as to whether it answers the research questions given the lack of questions in the introduction. The chapter should include an analysis of theoretical and managerial implications, limitations, suggestions for future research and reflections.

Writing skills

Adequate use of language and expression, although some sections lack clarity. Please make sure you revise how to use in-text citations

Overall comments

Overall, your work certainly demonstrates some knowledge and understanding of relevant literature and some ability to discuss methodological issues. However, it also shows several drawbacks in your introduction, analysis and conclusion. For this reason, I am afraid, not enough has been done to pass. In order to improve the mark I would recommend the following

Executive summary - Please make sure you offer a clearer overview of the study. An abstract should clearly state the objective of the work, the methods used and sample size. It should also briefly report findings and contributions

Introduction - It is fundamental that you include your research objective and questions as well as an analysis of the rationale.

Methodology - Please add relevant literature to support your methodological choices. Also add the following sections: research philosophy, sampling technique, data analysis technique, ethical constraints

Data analysis - The chapter should be structured as follows: introduction, socio-demographics of the sample, themes and sub-themes, thematic map. If you are using thematic analysis please follow Bran's and Clarke's steps and make sure your analysis is guided by the research questions and includes relevant quotes.

Conclusion - In the first part of the chapter called discussion you should discuss the findings in the light of the research questions. Argumentation should be supported by previous literature. In addition please add the following sections: theoretical and managerial implications, limitations, suggestions for future research and reflections.
