Considering SEO as you launch a new company

Project Description:

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the practice of making your website more attractive to search engines so that your website appears higher on Search Engine Result Pages (SERP). It is said that there are approximately 250 factors that search engines look at on websites to assign their search rank. That said, you have to have a strategic approach in the way that you build your website to maximize both user experience and SEO. For all Capstone project parts, you will be working with one company that you create.

For Capstone Project Part 1, you will create a new company that you will launch. Provide the following information.

Prepare a PowerPoint slideshow with your responses to the questions below.

1) What is the name of your new company? What is the product/service that your company will provide?

2) Who is the target market for your company? Explain why.

3) What country/region will your company be doing most of its business in?

4) Select an URL for your company. The domain name has to a be an URL that is available for purchase. You can check this out at www.domain.com

5) Provide an explanation on why you think this URL will be good for SEO.

Your slides should have a minimum of 4 slides and maximum 6 slides. Submit your complete PPT presentation to Capstone Project Part 1 in Moodle.
